13 Homestays in Thousand Islands Proposed as Controlled Isolation Locations

As many as 13 homestays in Thousand Islands will be proposed as controlled isolation locations for COVID-19 patients who are categorized as people without symptoms (OTG).

We collect homestays' data, check its facilities and administration, then submit the result to the agency

Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti informed, 1 homestay located in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, 4 homestays in Tidung Island Urban Village, 5 homestays in Harapan Island Urban Village, 2 homestays in Kelapa Island Urban Village, and 1 homestay in Panggang Island Urban Village.

"This proposal will be submitted to Jakarta BPBD through Parekraf Agency to use those homestays as controlled isolation locations in Thousand Islands," she conveyed, Wednesday (2/3).

According to her, controlled isolation locations are needed because there is an increase of COVID-19 cases in Thousand Islands.

"Controlled isolation locations proposal is submitted by urban village and puskemas in each areas based on the needs. We collect homestays' data, check its facilities and administration, then submit the result to the agency," she mentioned.
